How to Paint a Vibrant Yellow Bell Pepper Still Life

I'm going to record a watercolor combination for this week. I'm going to try to do it in 2 or 3 layers, so next time I'm going to try to resist the itchy hands and keep it translucent for the brighter objects.

Next, we will introduce how to mix colors and draw yellow peppercorns, if you are interested in painting, continue to look down, with the second one is better to understand.

On a side note, every time I go to a night market, I have to order roasted peppers, a little bit of charcoal grill flavor and watery texture is very good.

The base color of yellow peppers:

Bright color blocks are divided into: (Cadmium) yellow, (Cadmium) orange, yellow is the main color, deployed to maintain the ratio of more yellow, less orange.

Dark side colors can be used, (cadmium) orange, (cadmium) red, (red ochre) reddish brown.

How to draw yellow peppers:

1. first with light yellow (yellow diluted with water), leaving the bright spots on the yellow pepper, pay attention to watercolor pencils to maintain moisture, the bright part of the use of light yellow articulation with higher moisture concentration of yellow, please refer to the right side of the block color.

2. yellow pepper dark with orange, red trace of yellow color mixing, and color to the bottom of the yellow pepper, the process pay attention to not let the color dry out.

3. When painting to maintain the concentration of watercolor paint and moisture, if you need to overlay color on wet areas (such as the junction of the darker colors), the concentration of color increase; reduce the moisture on the pen, overlap can be Oh.

I hope this step-by-step description can help you recognize and understand how to paint green peppers, if there are any subjects you would like to see or painting methods you would like to know, please feel free to leave a comment or send me a private message, and I wish you a happy painting!
